.So im a senior in high school in Louisiana. I was wondering what courses exactly must I take in college to be successful in real estate. I want to major in business and marketing only to have something to fall back on if the market doesn’t pick up. Do i need to take financing or is business/marketing okay? I know i need to take real estate classes and everything but i need to know what college courses would help me more - business/ marketing or business/financing.?

How long after taking real estate classes do I have to take the exam in California?

So I would have taken classes in Fall 2009 and spring 2010 but would not want to get my license or take the exam until the summer of 2011. Does anyone know of a time constraint that the DRE has?
