When can I start practicing Real Estate in Virginia?

bsebl12 asked:

I thought that in the Principles of Real Estate class that the teacher said that once the broker requests your license you can begin practicing the forms of Real Estate, thus meaning they don’t necessarily have to possess your license yet. However, the company I signed with has said they won’t start my training until my license comes in. My “mentor,” however, has a house she wants to co-list with me tomorrow. The company was supposed to have sent my application for licensure in on Wednesday and the listing would be saturday. Can I legally co-list?
